MY STORY
Wild Idol was created for the free spirited – for those who want to stay present when life gets most interesting. For people with good taste who know what good tastes like – but until now have not found any non-alcoholic wine alternatives that make the grade.
Good times don’t need to have downsides. Some call it conscious hedonism — others describe it as “positive partying.” Whatever the name, it is celebration without compromise. This is Wild Idol.
MADE TO BE SPECIAL
It took two years of patient searching to find the perfect ingredients for Wild Idol. An expert team of winemakers travelled the globe to seek out the most skilled producers, the right grapes, and the finest technology to realise the vision of creating a truly authentic, non-alcoholic wine experience.
The grapes are carefully selected for their clean, naturally fruit-forward flavours and aromatic character. Merlot and Müller-Thurgau varietals feature in the 2020/2021 vintages, sourced from the famed winemaking region of southwest Germany.
SPARKLING PURITY
Wild Idol is produced using the same carefully considered techniques and patient craftsmanship found in traditional winemaking. Yet, unlike alcoholic wine or ‘de-alcoholised’ non-alcoholic alternatives, the grapes do not undergo fermentation.
This means Wild Idol is naturally alcohol-free, with nothing to remove and only minimal handling required. The result is a cleaner, less mechanised method — a supremely pure expression of its natural ingredients.
CRAFT
NATURALLY ALCOHOL-FREE WINES CRAFTED BY EXPERT WINEMAKERS
Only the finest quality grapes are selected to create a balanced, aromatic blend from their juices. Unlike alcoholic wine, the grapes used for Wild Idol are never fermented. This cleaner, less mechanised method makes Wild Idol’s alcohol-free alternatives a supremely pure expression of their natural ingredients.
PRESSING THE GRAPES
The grapes are harvested and pressed in the same careful manner as in winemaking. The natural juice is then chilled for up to 12 months, ensuring the juice doesn’t ferment.
BUILDING STRUCTURE
Filtered water is added to balance the concentration of the natural fruit sugars. The juice is then blended with natural wine vinegar and rectified grape must to build complexity, body and balance.
REFINED CARBONATION
Wild Idol’s fermentation-free process means its fine, delicate bubbles are introduced through refined carbonation. Achieving the tiny bubbles for a velvety ‘mousse’ requires the juice to first be chilled then carbonated under high pressure to push more CO2 into the blend, resulting in longer-lasting fizz in the glass.
FILTRATION AND BOTTLING
Sterile filtration ensures the purest blend, before Wild Idol is filled into a premium quality, vintage wine bottles.

- No fermentation process — unlike many non-alcoholic wines, Wild Idol’s grapes do not undergo fermentation; the product is naturally alcohol-free from the start.
- Minimal handling / clean production techniques — fewer interventions, preserving natural aromas and flavours.
- Recycled / sustainable packaging materials — uses recyclable corks (upcycled from cork offcuts), bottles made with recycled glass, soy-based ink printing, and eco-friendly box designs.
SUSTAINABILITY
Wild Idol depends on the natural environment, and with that comes a responsibility to help protect it. The brand is committed to taking conscious, ongoing steps toward sustainable, green practices in every aspect of production.
Recyclable corks, themselves upcycled from cork offcuts, are used for closure. Bottles are crafted from cullet recycled glass, saving energy and reducing emissions. Eco-friendly boxes are printed with natural soy instead of traditional oil-based inks.
