Tranquebar 400th Anniversary Gin marks the four hundredth anniversary of the Danes peacefully establishing a colony in India to provide them with access to the precious flavors and aromas that could only be found in these sacred lands. Vanilla, cardamom, star anise, nutmeg and cinnamon, exotic ingredients for the Danes of that time, flavored all Indian food and drinks at the time, serving as inspiration for the creation of Tranquebar gin.
The taste of Tranquebar 400th Anniversary Gin is a tribute to all these intensely flavored delicacies, which we now take for granted, but which still retain the exotic essence of India in their DNA, both in scent and taste.
Nose: Very pleasant and finely spiced
Taste: Extremely rich and balanced, where lemon, vanilla, cardamom and nutmeg give a delicate recital of aromas in the glass
