Description
Tranquebar Christmas Gin has a warm and soft taste, with a delicate spicy flavor of juniper, cardamom and cinnamon. The fresh hue brought tones of oranges and other citrus.
The perfectly balanced taste lies in the recipe for making gin. This gin is distilled according to the original recipe from 1616, created by the founder of the Danish East India Company, Jan De Willum. Gin is fired only in small batches with an individual bottle number and a vintage indication. Although this gin is distilled in the Netherlands, the spices and herbs come from the city of Tranquebar in India.
This is a limited-edition gin and each bottle has its own serial number. The gin was filled into a very nice vintage bottle with 48 % alcohol content, which was closed with a cork stopper. Only 2000 pieces are produced in one batch.
Nose: Vanilla, star anise, juniper and pepper
Taste: Sweet with notes of cardamom, cinnamon, orange and clove
Finish: Medium long, soft, sweet and spicy
